In the 2023-2024 Curriculum Bulletin you will find important academic information regarding course selections, course descriptions, grading scale, scholarship information, high school requirements and other pertinent information to assist you during your middle schools years at Eugenia B. Thomas K-8 Center.
In order to select courses appropriate for each student, it is important to take into consideration all recommendations made by the student’s teachers and counselor. When you are considering electives, it is important to consider future career paths as this is the opportunity for your child to learn about possible new interests. Keep in mind that some students may require courses such as Intensive Reading and/or Intensive Mathematics depending on his/her Florida Standards Assessment scores and/or teacher recommendation. These courses will take the place of an elective course.
